On Saturday, August 16th, Tim moved into the beautiful(?) Harrison Hall dormitory at Purdue University to begin a week of freshman orientation called the "Boiler Gold Rush." With West Lafayette, IN being nearly eleven hours away from home, it is likely that Tim won't be home until his Christmas break. He plans on majoring in Pre-Pharmacy.

I cannot believe he is old enough to go to college...didn't we just take him home from the hospital?
It makes me sad to think of him off to college - but, very proud of him at the same time.
It will be an adjustment for all of you.
I did send an email to him the day Mike called. I am sure he is busy with the freshman class activities planned.
